Job summary

CHECC(SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Coordinator/Senior Civil Engineer to supervise daily civil and structural works on-site at the Bayfront location.

The role requires ensuring construction activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements while coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant site experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of site experience on buildings/infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and structural works.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and structural drawings.
• Good coordination and communication with multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil and structural works on-site.
• Ensure activities follow approved drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve issues.
• Review and interpret structural drawings to provide guidance.
• Monitor site progress to meet schedule.
• Conduct site inspections for quality control and compliance.
• Check rebar, formwork, concreting, and other structural activities prior to inspections.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and safe work procedures.
• Prepare site reports and progress updates.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies, technical issues, and design changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant site experience in building and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and structural works.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and structural drawings accurately.
• Experience with top-down method project is advantageous.
• Good coordination and communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment.
