Job description

THE ROLE:

You will be specializing in FPGA, hardware programmable SoCs and the ACAP (Adaptive Compute Acceleration Platform) to join our highly talented team designed to deliver the most dynamic processor technology in the industry and enable the adaptable, intelligent and connected world of the future in a multitude of markets including Data Center (Compute, Storage and Networking), Wireless/5G and Wired Communications, Automotive/ADAS, Emulation & Prototyping, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Scientific & Medical, and others.

THE PERSON:

You will serve as technical lead responsible to meet New Product Development, Advance Automotive Qualifications and Production ramp milestones. You will provide technical supervision and mentoring to junior engineers and influence others as a subject matter expert. You must be highly motivated, innovative, and be able to quickly analyze different scenarios to come up with the best approach to tackle tough problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Timely execute new product evaluation and 1st Silicon debug to enable the fastest time to production for new products.
• Define verification plan for product functionality and performance window and implement proper screening in NPI and Production test.
• Develop innovative test methodologies to target highest level of product quality for Automotive market segments
• Analytic ability to solve technical issues and generate cost-effective solutions for production ramp.
• Identify and facilitate the development of new business opportunities by addressing customer requirements for out-of-spec use cases.
• Actively participate in cross function team including product test, pattern development and IC design to efficiently debug any product failures and come up with optimal solutions
• Develop customer-specific solutions with full product cycle technical support, feasibility verification, and project management throughout the entire product development process
• Identify and implement AI-driven opportunities that improve engineering efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and deliver measurable business impact.
• Actively engage with partners and internal teams on key technical topics and issues, steering multi-party discussions toward a consensus
• Coordinate on-time delivery of all engineering project deliverables into customer development projects

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in the computing industry with solid understanding of FPGA products, design and applications and strong knowledge in silicon test methodologies and implementation
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across various geographies to debug silicon and customer issues and drive resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technical concepts.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple internal functional organizations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive team results.
• Experience in silicon test methodologies and implementation is a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelors orMaster’s in computer engineeringor computer science orelectrical engineering,or comparable disciplines
