• Background in product engineering or program management.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with geographically distributed product engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of automation flow and data analysis.
• Basic understanding of ATE testing and NPI process, bench testing and debug.
• ATE test program knowledge, preferably Advantest and Verigy.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet those goals.
• Communicate status to management or executive staff
• Manage and guide the junior engineers to handle ATE testing and data analysis.
• Define and manage key product deliverables/schedules and driving cross functional activities
• Partner with team manager to manage budgets, contracts, purchase orders, and invoices
• Drive pre-silicon planning, including hardware and software ordering/purchasing
• Drive high-volume manufacturing readiness, once silicon arrives
• Work with IPs team and system integration teams to understand system requirements and specific use case
• Generates automation flow and scripts where applicable for efficiency improvements
• Work with cross functional team to Investigate and find solutions to various issues

THE ROLE:

You will be highly motivated to manage and control activities in multi-functional areas of the product characterization team, from pre-silicon planning through high volume manufacturing by liaison with internal and external teams and vendors.

• Courses or certifications in project management (PMI, SCRUM, AGILE, ISO 9000) is a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field; Masters preferred, with relevant experience
