Job summary

AMD Singapore is seeking a technical lead for FPGA hardware programmable SoCs and the ACAP platform to join a highly talented team delivering dynamic processor technology across data center, 5G, automotive, and other markets.

You will supervise and mentor junior engineers, drive New Product Development and production ramp milestones, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug silicon and deliver robust solutions for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in computing with solid understanding of FPGA products, design and applications.
• Knowledge of silicon test methodologies and implementation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to debug silicon issues.

Responsibilities

• Timely execute new product evaluation and 1st Silicon debug to enable fastest time to production.
• Define verification plan for product functionality and performance window for NPI and Production test.
• Develop innovative test methodologies to target highest product quality for Automotive segments.
• Solve technical issues and generate cost-effective solutions for production ramp.
• Identify new business opportunities by addressing customer requirements for out-of-spec use cases.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to debug product failures and derive optimal solutions.
• Develop customer-specific solutions with full product cycle technical support and project management.
• Identify and implement AI-driven opportunities to improve engineering efficiency and decision-making.
• Engage with partners and internal teams to steer discussions toward consensus.
• Coordinate on-time delivery of engineering deliverables into customer development projects.
