Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (JurongHealth Campus) seeks Nurses for our Emergency Department (Senior/Staff). The role involves triage, urgent patient assessment, and delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Applicants must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, hold a Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse Certificate, and have at least 1 year of inpatient ward experience. Senior roles prefer Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent.

Formación

• At least 1 year of inpatient ward experience as Staff Nurse.
• Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent preferred for Senior Staff Nurse.

Responsabilidades

• Triage and priority assessment of patients in the ED.
• Perform focused nursing assessments and document care.
• Provide patient education and monitor comfort.
• Assist clinicians during examinations, tests, and treatments.
• Respond to emergencies and support CPR when needed.
• Coordinate with units for admissions and transfers.
• Inform patient and NOK about care/treatment progress.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for Senior / Staff Nurse (Emergency) (Full / Part-time)to join us to provide high quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent shall be responsible to:

• Triage each patient and determine priority of care based on assessment of physical, psychological and social needs.
• Perform focused patient assessment of chief complaint, medical history and medications to ascertain history and medical condition in a timely manner and according to established triage guidelines.
• Provide safe, patient education care whilst observing patient comfort.
• Monitor patient assessments at regular/ frequent intervals and document care and assessments accordingly.
• Assist clinicians during physical examinations, diagnostic testing and treatments of patients.
• Initiate corrective action timely when patient’s condition or information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
• Assist with CPR and other emergency treatment and stabilise patients’ condition in collaboration with the physician.
• Keep patient and the next of kin (NOK) informed of care/treatment at appropriate stages of stay in the ED.
• Liaise with other units as appropriate if patient is for admission and require further treatment etc.
• Accompany critically ill or emergency patients to other hospitals.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must be registered with SNB
• Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse Certificate.
• At least 1 year of inpatient ward experience as Staff Nurse.
• Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for candidate applying for Senior Staff Nurse position.
