Your new responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day technical work of the automation engineers and assistant engineers: set priorities, assign tasks, review designs and provide hands-on guidance
- Design and develop innovative automation solutions, including robotic and cobot systems, AMR/AGV-based material handling, mechatronic and vision-guided applications, while evaluating technical and commercial implementation options. Define system capacity and performance requirements by analyzing throughput, cycle time, takt time, buffer capacity, availability, and OEE targets to ensure optimized productivity and operational efficiency.
- Develop automation system specifications and concepts covering mechanical, electrical, controls, HMI, and software requirements, while reviewing vendor designs and ensuring compliance with technical, operational, and project requirements
- Lead end-to-end automation project execution from concept through handover, managing schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications. Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Facilities, Production, Maintenance, EHS, and Purchasing to ensure successful project delivery within approved scope, timeline, and budget.
- Manage vendor selection and execution by evaluating technical proposals, overseeing design, testing, installation, and commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements
- Lead automation system reliability and lifecycle management by troubleshooting complex production issues, driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions, implementing upgrades and performance improvements, and maintaining asset documentation, software version control, and spare parts strategies to maximize system uptime and operational efficiency.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical
- Min. 5 years of industrial automation and robotics
- Project management. PC/PLC programming. CAD/Solidworks. Electrical system. Smart Factory system
- Applies deep technical knowledge through a structured, systematic and disciplined approach to solve complex engineering problems
