Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Singapore seeks a Product and Test Engineer for the Research & Development team to merge creativity with technical expertise. You will shape future technology by generating DFT instruments, verifying test functions, and debugging patterns across automotive Ethernet products.

Strong emphasis on ASIC development and scripting is required. The role demands 5+ years in digital DFT, proficiency in Linux scripting, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or related) field.
• 5+ years in digital DFT design, logic simulation, synthesis, formal verification, ATE test, silicon failure analysis.
• Solid background in ASIC development.
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and languages such as Perl, Python, Tcl, Make.
• Passion for technology, flexible, goal-oriented, team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Generate DFT instruments with advanced EDA tools (MBIST, OCC, TAP, Boundary Scan, LBIST, SSN, EDT).
• Integrate and verify DFT instruments with simulation and in-house verification tools.
• Perform block- and chip-level DFT rule checking and debugging for various testing modes.
• Generate and verify test patterns with automated flows.
• Assist test pattern debugging on ATE machines and conduct failure analysis.
• Research advanced DFT techniques for Automotive Ethernet products.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Generate DFT instruments with advanced EDA tools, including MBIST, OCC, TAP controller, Boundary Scan, LBIST, SSN, EDT and other DFT instruments.
• Perform DFT instruments integration and verification of test functions with industrial simulation tools and in-house verification tools.
• Perform block-level and chip-level DFT rule checking and debugging for various testing modes.
• Generate and verify test patterns with flow of automation.
• Assist test pattern debugging on ATE machine and carry out failure analysis.
• Research on advanced DFT techniques for Automotive Ethernet products.

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related fields with coursework in digital logic design, computer architecture.
• 5+ years or more of hands-on experience in digital DFT design, logic simulation, synthesis, formal verification, ATE test and silicon failure analysis.
• Solid knowledge and background in ASIC development.
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Tcl, and Make.
• Have passion in technology and innovation; being flexible, goal-oriented, and team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
