Job summary

Micron Technology Singapore seeks an STPG PE System Engineer to support SSD products from development through high-volume production, focusing on product quality and manufacturing readiness.

The role involves collaborating with Product Engineering, Firmware, NAND, ASIC, Hardware, Test, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure robust, manufacturable SSD solutions and continuous product improvements. A strong manufacturing-readiness mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in product engineering, manufacturing test, product qualification, yield improvement, characterization, failure analysis, or related engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Drive SSD product engineering execution including manufacturing test bring-up, product qualification, firmware/test validation, and production readiness.
• Analyze test yield, characterization data, test limits, and manufacturing performance to identify issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform system-level failure analysis and root-cause investigation, working across Firmware, NAND, ASIC, Hardware, and Manufacturing teams to resolve complex product issues.
• Develop and improve test, debug, data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled engineering solutions to improve product quality and engineering efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, methodologies, and workflows.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to identify technical risks, resolve product and manufacturing issues, and support successful product execution.
