Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an SSD System Design Engineer to own end-to-end system design and execution of SSD solutions from concept through high-volume manufacturing.

You will drive system-level decisions by collaborating with firmware, hardware, NAND, validation, and manufacturing teams to meet performance, power, reliability, and customer requirements. You will lead cross-functional architecture reviews, guide product characterization, and prepare systems for silicon

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
6–10 years in SSD, storage, or system engineering.
Experience from design to manufacturing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Define and drive system-level architecture and design specs for SSD products.
Lead system integration across full product lifecycle and production ramp.
Conduct system-level debug, failure analysis, and root cause identification.
Define validation strategy and test coverage for system designs.
Coordinate cross-functional leadership across firmware, hardware, validation, ASIC, and manufacturing.
Provide system engineering support to internal teams and customers.
