Job summary

Shopee Singapore Private Limited's Engineering and Technology team is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability of the SDN/virtual networking stack. You will manage the distributed control plane, host data plane, and programmable switch components, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in SRE, infra ops, or platform engineering in production environments.
• Strong Linux and networking knowledge; diagnose performance and reliability issues.
• Understanding of distributed systems, HA, timeouts, and retries.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible including playbooks and idempotency.

Responsibilities

• Own production reliability of SDN/virtual networking systems and control/data planes.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead complex incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Build and improve monitoring/alerting for service availability and network performance.
• Drive capacity management, fault isolation, disaster recovery, and automated remediation.
• Collaborate with development teams to address reliability in architecture and implementation.
