Job summary

Astek is seeking an experienced Production Support / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in Singapore. You will deliver hands-on production operations, incident resolution, and reliability improvements for business-facing applications in modern cloud and containerised environments.

The role requires 5+ years in production support or SRE, strong Linux/Unix and scripting skills, and experience with Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, and infra tools.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
5+ years in Production/Application Support or SRE.
Hands-on support for business-facing applications and users.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix, Bash, Shell scripting, and cloud tech.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day production and application support for mission-critical systems.
Investigate and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues.
Manage incident triage, incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
Monitor health, performance, and scheduled workloads to ensure reliability.
Troubleshoot across Linux/Unix, cloud, containerised, and application environments.
Develop and maintain Bash/Shell scripts to support automation.
Collaborate with business users and engineering teams to resolve issues and minimize disruption.
Identify opportunities to improve reliability, monitoring, and operational processes.
