Job summary

Rakuten Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to collaboratively deliver fast, reliable web services with automation and data-driven monitoring.

As an experienced engineer, you will design infrastructure, improve processes, and drive adoption of new tech within the Coupon/Loyalty platforms, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tooling in a global Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying and managing large-scale internet-facing web services.
• Experience with DevOps processes, culture, and tools (Chef and Terraform).
• Demonstrated experience measuring and monitoring availability, latency and system health for production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build infrastructure and automation to rapidly deliver web services.
• Troubleshoot system and network failures and application crashes for high-traffic platforms.
• Create CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for robust deployment of platform features.
• Engage in capacity planning, performance analysis and system tuning to ensure reliability.
