Job summary

Bearie Learning Space in Singapore seeks a qualified Speech Pathologist to provide home-based and centre-based support for children with expressive and receptive language delays. You will administer tests, prepare reports, and deliver targeted interventions for articulation and social communication issues.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech Pathology, AHPC registration, and at least five years' experience with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Possess a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from an AHPC-recognized institution.
• Valid practising certificate with full AHPC registration.
• Senior role requires at least five years’ experience with children with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based and centre-based support for children with speech and language delays.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based and centred-based support for children with expressive, receptive and pragmatic social language delays, feeding and swallowing disorders
• Administer standardized language tests and to prepare reports.
• Conducting individual or group interventions for children with articulation difficulties, expressive and receptive language issues and social communication difficulties.
• Works collaboratively with stakeholders in planning and implementing intervention plans
• Establishes and maintains regular good communication/rapport with caregivers and teachers

Qualifications and Traits

• Possess a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from an institution recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council.
• (AHPC)
• Valid practising certificate with full registration from the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
• Applicants for Senior position should possess at least five years experience working with children with developmental disabilities
