Job summary

Exyte in Singapore seeks a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support commercial operations on major engineering and construction projects. You will assist with cost reporting, contract administration, and liaison with contractors and suppliers, ensuring accurate cost capture and adherence to contract obligations.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Sciences, or Engineering and 5–6 years of relevant experience, with preference for data centre, hospital, or EPC

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Sciences or Engineering.
• 5–6 years of experience in engineering and construction.
• Experience in data centre, hospital, heavy industrial or EPC contracts preferred.
• Familiar with industry standards and contract forms.

Responsibilities

• Review work specifications, take-off quantity, costing and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
• Assist Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Manager with all daily commercial operations.
• Assist with Cost and Budget Reporting.
• Assist with resolving contractual and commercial problems.
• Attend to all contract admin & documentation for the project.
• Ensure stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations.
• RFQ procedures with subcontractors and suppliers for pre and post-contract stages.
• Progress Claims with Client and/or subcontractors & suppliers.
• Supporting variations and claim procedures.
• Ad hoc duties as determined by management.

• Supporting in Variation and Claim procedures.
• Ad hoc duties as determined by management

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Building Sciences /Engineering
• Minimum years of experience: 5-6 years
• Experience in the field of engineering and construction
• Preferably with experience in Data Centre, hospital, heavy industrial and other mission critical complex projects, or EPC contracts
