Job summary

Fico in Singapore seeks an experienced kitchen leader to guide daily operations at our Italian coastal venue. You will mentor junior chefs, manage rostering, ensure food quality and hygiene, and help open new venues. Working with a dynamic team in a vibrant seaside setting, you will shape our kitchen craft and guest experience.

You will oversee stock, costs, and quality control while upholding safety standards and supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of kitchen experience with 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc).
• High standards of health and safety including personal hygiene.
• Experience working in all kitchen areas and organising prep and mise-en-place.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct food preparation with Head Chef.
• Support kitchen rostering and team development.
• Assist in opening new venue and mentoring junior staff.
• Monitor stock, quality, and cost of ingredients; enforce hygiene standards.
