Job summary

SMBC Group seeks an experienced Business Transformation Leader to drive discovery, design, and delivery of AI-enabled banking solutions for corporate clients and internal users. You will guide cross-functional teams through journey mapping, prototype development, and service design, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and risk controls.

With 12+ years in BA, UX, and process transformation, you will mentor analysts, facilitate workshops, and partner with technology, data, and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
• “12 years of experience in BA, Process Transformation, Service Design, UX Design, Product Management, or Digital Transformation.”
• Experience leading discovery, process re-engineering, and customer/employee experience initiatives.
• Knowledge of corporate banking processes such as Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Payments, Cash Management, Treasury, Lending, Client Onboarding, or Operations.
• Facilitation of Design Thinking workshops with senior stakeholders and end users.
• Hands-on experience in journey mapping, service blueprinting, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, user research, and usability testing.
• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
• Experience translating complex data-heavy banking requirements into intuitive experiences.
• Experience applying AI tools to business analysis, research, or prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and define future-state customer journeys, processes, service models, and operating designs.
• Translate business needs into user journeys, process flows, information architectures, and prototypes (low-to-high fidelity).
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Data, and AI teams to ensure feasibility and security.
• Lead stakeholder walkthroughs, user research, usability testing, and iterative feedback cycles.
• Define adoption measures and track UX and business outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Mentor Business Analysts and UX practitioners to promote best practices.
