Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Senior/Executive Engineer (Solution Architect – Cloud System and Ticketing Equipment) to lead the modernisation of Singapore’s AFC system. You will drive end-to-end solution design, governance, and security across cloud services, payment processing, and multi-vendor integrations.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with cloud-based systems, and familiarity with e-payment technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and system requirements and translate them into high-level and detailed technical specifications and interface designs
• Perform technical impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to mission-critical AFC operations
• Architect and design secure, scalable, and high-availability system solutions for AFC and payment systems, including EMV/open-loop models
• Lead cloud solutioning and migration strategies, ensuring alignment with LTA’s cloud adoption roadmap
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop robust and future-ready solutions
• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, API/interface specifications, integration patterns, and designs for multi-vendor environments
• Contribute to architecture governance, cloud best practices, security controls, and system resiliency planning
• Conduct solution walkthroughs, architecture reviews, and technical presentations
