Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in solution architecture, systems analysis/design, or complex application development.
• Proven experience designing or supporting cloud-based systems.
• Familiarity with e-payment technologies, particularly in the context of fare collection, transaction clearing, and EMV-based systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, system design analysis and ability to resolve complex multi-stakeholder issues.
• Experience with stakeholder management and working in complex, multi-vendor environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and system requirements and translate them into high-level and detailed technical specifications and interface designs.
• Perform technical impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to mission-critical AFC operations.
• Architect and design secure, scalable, and high-availability system solutions for AFC and payment systems, including those using EMV, open-loop standards, account-based ticketing and card-based ticketing models.
• Lead cloud solutioning and migration strategies, ensuring alignment with LTA's cloud adoption roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (project teams, software development teams, operations) and external partners (vendors, financial institutions) to develop robust and future-ready solutions.
• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, API/interface specifications, integration patterns, and designs for complex multi-vendor and multi-system environments.
• Contribute to architecture governance, cloud best practices, security controls, and system resiliency planning.
• Conduct solution walkthroughs, architecture reviews, and technical presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
