Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive Engineer (Solution Architect – Cloud System and Ticketing Equipment) to modernise the AFC system for seamless, secure, and scalable public transport nationwide. You will design end-to-end solutions across payments, backend processing, cloud services, and security, ensuring reliability at national scale.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in solution architecture or complex application development.
• Experience designing or supporting cloud-based systems.
• Familiarity with e-payment technologies and secure data flows.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and system requirements into technical specifications.
• Perform impact analysis for changes with minimal AFC disruption.
• Architect secure, scalable, high-availability AFC and payment system solutions.
• Lead cloud solutioning and migration aligned with roadmap.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop robust solutions.
• Produce architecture diagrams, API specs, and integration patterns.
• Contribute to governance, security controls, and resiliency planning.
• Conduct walkthroughs and architecture reviews for stakeholders.
