Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Principal/Senior/Executive Engineer (Solution Architect - Infrastructure & Security) to lead the modernisation of Singapore's AFC system. You will design secure, scalable architectures for account-based and card-based ticketing, governing multi-vendor integrations across cloud and on-premise environments.

The role requires 5+ years in solution architecture, strong networking and security expertise, and experience with enterprise integration patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing secure and scalable enterprise architectures for multi-vendor environments.
• Knowledge of payment systems, AFC or open-loop architectures is a plus.
• Strong understanding of security principles and compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS).
• Experience with cloud environments, networking, and API integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure, scalable, high-availability solutions for AFC and payment systems across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Govern end-to-end system integration architectures with multiple vendors and data formats.
• Lead security architecture design to meet IM8 and security requirements.
• Design and govern network topology, connectivity, and security controls across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Produce architecture diagrams, interface specs, and integration designs with clear documentation.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and integration patterns for multi-system environments.
• Conduct architecture reviews and present findings to stakeholders and partners.
