Job summary

Tap Growth ai is hiring a seasoned Software Tester in Singapore to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts. You will drive the automation strategy across web apps and work closely with development and QA teams to ensure robust testing processes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of tester experience, strong JS/Python skills, and hands-on API testing with Postman/Swagger. The role requires familiarity with Docker, Git, and Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Tester with Watermelon and Cypress.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or Python.
• Experience with HTML/CSS and web technologies.
• Familiarity with Git and CI tools like Jenkins.
• Knowledge of API testing and Docker.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with development and QA to define test strategies.
• Execute automated tests to validate software functionality and find defects.
• Enhance automation frameworks to improve coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
• Analyze results and provide insights to stakeholders on software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and promote coding standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on automation trends and new tools for testing.
• Support continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle with automation.
• Perform API testing with Postman or Swagger.
• Work with Docker containers and related environments.
• Validate batch jobs including scheduling, dependencies, and outputs.
• Perform Oracle database validation for data integrity and transformation accuracy.
• Assist with cutover and rollback planning and pre/post-migration testing.
• Handle Windows Server operations like service management and environment setup.
