About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SPM Developer to join our Singapore team as a Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), with hands-on experience in designing, developing, configuring, and implementing enterprise‑grade solutions.
The candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and be capable of delivering scalable, high-quality solutions while collaborating with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders. Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, App Engine, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, or IntegrationHub will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) platform.
- Configure and customize SPM capabilities, including:
- Demand Management
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Resource Management
- Agile Development
- Investment Funding
- Program & Portfolio Management
- Strategic Planning
- Time Card Management
- Financial Planning
- Develop server-side and client-side customizations using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs.
- Build custom applications using App Engine where required.
- Configure Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Catalog, Notifications, and Workspaces.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
- Perform solution design, technical estimation, and impact analysis.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Stay updated with new ServiceNow releases and SPM capabilities.
Additional Responsibilities (Technical Lead)
- Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance.
- Mentor and support junior developers.
- Review solution designs and code to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Work closely with project managers to estimate effort, manage technical risks, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive adoption of ServiceNow best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years (Senior Software Engineer) or 7+ years (Technical Lead) of ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- Experience in configuring and customizing SPM modules including Demand, PPM, Resource Management, Financial Planning, Agile Development, and Strategic Planning.
- Experience in multiple end-to-end ServiceNow implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting, including:
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- Script Includes
- UI Policies
- UI Actions
- ACLs
- Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Catalog, and Workspaces.
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and development best practices.
- Experience with update sets, source control, deployment methodologies, and release management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) Preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) Preferred.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications will be an added advantage.
