Job summary

AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, and scale a high-throughput platform in Singapore.

You will implement frontend and backend components using modern JS frameworks, Java, and Go, and build RESTful APIs and microservices for broad system integrations. You will work on cloud-native architecture, containerization, and secure API design, while collaborating with business and partner teams on third-party adapters and evaluations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of web technologies, web architecture, protocols, and performance optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and distributed application architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with enterprise-scale apps.
• Experience in designing microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, PCF).
• Experience building secure applications and API security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance a highly scalable platform capable of processing millions of concurrent messages and transactions.
• Build cloud-native, infrastructure-agnostic solutions that seamlessly integrate with multiple network backends through a plug-and-play architecture.
• Develop modular, reusable, and secure platform components following industry best practices and enterprise standards.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to expose platform functionalities and enable seamless system integrations.
• Build and maintain modern, responsive web applications using technologies such as React, Redux, ES6, and Webpack.
• Architect and optimize scalable backend services with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop high-quality code using Java, Go, and related technologies while integrating with backend services through HTTP APIs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive testing frameworks, including unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and production issues.
• Participate actively in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning sessions.
• Collaborate with business development and partnership teams to develop third-party integrations and technology adapters.
