Job summary

Seoulstart is seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead regulatory reporting automation across multiple jurisdictions. You will own architecture for data pipelines, submission tooling, and AI-assisted compliance workflows while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and auditability.

The role requires transforming regulatory requirements into precise technical designs and delivering multi-stakeholder programmes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend engineering foundation in Python, Kotlin, or Java.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into engineering designs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical programmes.
• Comfortable representing engineering perspective to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical roadmap for regulatory reporting automation across licensed entities and jurisdictions.
• Lead architecture decisions for data pipelines, submission tooling, and AI-assisted compliance workflows.
• Own delivery of regulatory reporting milestones ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and auditability.
• Serve as primary engineering contact for Compliance, Legal, and Finance stakeholders.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear technical specifications and engineering designs.
• Drive adoption of AI and LLM tooling to automate review, gap analysis, and interpretation tasks.
• Define and uphold data quality, testing, and reconciliation standards across reporting models.
• Partner with Core Banking engineering on shared data platform capabilities.
