Job summary

Seoulstart is seeking a senior regulatory assurance professional to lead financial crime compliance initiatives for fintech products in APAC. You will own and evolve the controls framework, translate regulatory needs into technical requirements, and drive timely, high-impact project delivery across partners and product teams.

You will analyze complex regulatory regimes, apply data-driven insights, and collaborate with Compliance, Product, and Engineering to minimize risk while enabling business

Qualifications

• Bring at least six years of regulatory assurance or financial crime compliance in fintech.
• Analyze and interpret complex regulatory frameworks and apply them effectively in practice.
• Solve problems by combining regulatory knowledge with data to drive business decisions.
• Own and deliver projects proactively, on time, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own WP control framework, moving from global baselines to market-specific frameworks.
• Test financial crime methodology and rules rigorously, designing new controls where needed.
• Lead retrospectives on live products and establish compliance foundations before new launches.
• Assess how global financial crime controls land in APAC with local regulatory nuance embedded.
• Advocate for APAC Wise Platform Product Compliance priorities within global infrastructure teams.
• Identify, scope, and resolve compliance gaps across retail and Wise Platform product offerings.
• Prioritize and resolve high-impact financial crime issues using risk-based regulatory expertise.
• Enable commercial teams by applying pragmatic, risk-based approaches to partner solutions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate regulatory needs into technical requirements.
