Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a software engineer to sustain and improve the machine software, and to develop features based on customer needs while providing on-site troubleshooting.

The role requires collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and application teams to implement new hardware or software features, along with reviewing user requirements and procedures, and enhancing setup utilities for easier operation. Travel regionally will be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficient in C, C++ programming with Windows OS.
• Experienced in PC-based control programming.
• Knowledge of real-time control systems and OO design methodologies.
• Familiarity with vision systems and motion control; senior position possible.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and continuously improve the current machine software.
• Develop and enhance software features based on customer requirements.
• Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for software issues.
• Review and update user requirements and operation procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and application teams to implement new hardware/software features.
• Develop and enhance utilities to improve equipment setup and ease of operation.
