Job summary

Talent Recruitment Pte Ltd is hiring a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer in Woodlands, Singapore. The role focuses on maintaining, developing, and supporting machine software used in semiconductor equipment, with on-site and regional travel requirements.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering and at least 2 years of software development experience in the semiconductor industry, with proficiency in C/C++ on Windows.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years of software development experience in semiconductor industry
Proficient in C/C++ programming on Windows OS
Experience in PC-based control programming
Knowledge of real-time control systems, OO design and databases
Senior position: experience with Vision, Motion Control and SECS/GEM advantageous
Willing to travel regionally

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing machine software.
Develop software features based on customer and equipment requirements.
Provide on-site software support and troubleshooting.
Review and update user requirements and operating procedures.
Work with Mechanical, Electrical and Application teams on hardware/software integration.
Develop software utilities to improve equipment setup and operation.
