Job summary

Unisoft is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Singapore to join our enterprise applications team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE solutions using Oracle Fusion Middleware, ESB, and ADF/WebCenter Portal.

You will work across legacy J2EE and modern Spring Boot microservices, focusing on backend databases, complex SQL, and data migration while embracing Agile/Scrum practices and rigorous testing.

Qualifications

• min 9+ years of experience, preferably on large-scale enterprise or government/statutory-board applications.
• min 7 years of experience in Oracle ADF / Oracle WebCenter Portal.
• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle ESB.
• min 5 years of experience with Java 1.8, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful Services.
• min 5 years of experience with Struts 1.1, JSP, Servlets, and EJB.
• Strong Oracle/PL-SQL backend development experience.
• Experience with automated testing, data migration, enterprise integration, and production support.
• Proven experience working in Agile Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, implement, and maintain end-to-end, highly scalable enterprise applications using Java/J2EE and Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.
• Design and develop applications using Java 1.8, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful Web Services.
• Design, develop, and maintain portal applications using Oracle ADF and Oracle WebCenter Portal.
• Integrate enterprise applications using Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle ESB, including service orchestration, routing, transformation, and system integration.
• Work across legacy J2EE technologies such as Struts, JSP, Servlets, and EJB with modern Spring Boot/microservices architectures.
• Design and develop robust backend solutions using Oracle Database, PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Perform database design, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization for scalability and reliability.
• Design and execute data migration and integration activities, including mapping, transformation, validation, migration, and reconciliation.
• Prepare and execute automated test scripts using HATS or equivalent tools; support testing and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, middleware, integration, database, and production issues; perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in solution architecture and technical design activities; provide scalable and secure recommendations.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and enterprise principles.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, testers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders throughout theSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Work effectively withinAgile/Scrum methodology, participate in Scrum ceremonies, support releases and production deployments, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to development team members.
