Job summary

Mandai Wildlife Group is seeking a Lead Software Specialist to drive the design, development and delivery of enterprise applications and integrations across the Group’s systems. This senior individual contributor role requires hands-on coding, setting technical direction, and delivering secure, cost-efficient solutions with AI capabilities where appropriate.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on software engineering delivering enterprise applications and integrations in an Agile environment.
• Proficient in Python or NodeJS with production coding experience.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations between enterprise systems (RESTful, event-driven).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise business applications and integrations end to end.
• Propose solution options with approach, effort, cost, and risk and secure stakeholder agreement before build.
• Write production code and stay hands-on as the lead engineer on your portfolio.
• Own software design, code quality, security standards, testing strategy, and technical debt management.
• Build, maintain APIs, integrations, and data pipelines connecting enterprise systems.
• Deliver and govern Power Platform apps, including governance of citizen-developer builds.
• Embed AI and intelligent automation with guardrails and production evaluation.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, release management, and environment strategy; ensure production stability.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks for the solutions you own.
• Set reference architectures and select platforms/tools for long-term maintainability.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to engineers, vendors, and citizen developers.
