Job summary

Mandai Wildlife Group seeks a Senior Principal Architect for Data Engineering to lead enterprise data architecture, governance, and analytics strategy. You will architect scalable pipelines and platforms, mentor engineers, and drive AI-enabled insights across the organisation.

You will champion secure, auditable data practices and partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, enabling trusted data for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
• 10+ years of data engineering experience with leadership/architect roles.
• Proficiency with Fivetran and dbt for data orchestration.
• Proficiency with Streamlit and Power BI for visualization.
• Experience programming in Python, Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
• Experience deploying AI models and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise data architecture, reference patterns, and multi-year data engineering roadmap.
• Design, build, and govern robust data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Lead analytics, data engineering, and AI initiatives to empower business decisions.
• Establish data governance, security, and trust with compliant practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers; stay current on industry trends.
