Job summary

Google Singapore is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for Content Safety to design and implement scalable safety solutions across server and edge environments. You will shape architecture and AI pipelines, working with global teams on high-impact projects.

Required 5+ years in software development, 3+ years in ML infrastructure, and strong design skills; experience in responsible AI is a plus. This role offers challenging work and collaboration across Google’s platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with one or more ML-related areas (speech/audio, RL, ML infra, or related).
• 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing).

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive the technical direction for content safety solutions across server-side and edge environments.
• Design scalable software architectures, modular interfaces, and complex data models.
• Lead development, deployment, and optimization of agentic flows and AI orchestration pipelines at scale.
• Establish validation, routing, and tool-use schemas for safe autonomous pipelines.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to translate goals into concrete technical plans.
