Job summary

Google Singapore is seeking software engineers for the Core team to design, build, and scale content safety platforms that protect users from harmful content and enable responsible AI across Google products. You will contribute to ML infrastructure, model deployment, and safety-focused architectures while influencing product-level decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or related ML field.
• 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain and scale content safety platforms to safeguard business-critical products for Google.
• Deliver quality and future-proof content safety self-service solutions that combine content safety protection with production-grade infrastructure.
• Enable safety teams to protect users from exposures to offensive content, and unlock new opportunities for the business.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices across technologies.
• Identify opportunities to mitigate internal signal developer issues, and launch improvements.
