Job summary

Google’s Content Safety team in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer to drive AI transformation enablement, delivering scalable, safe AI systems across product and infrastructure. You will contribute to design, deployment, and testing of modules that enable robust content-safety solutions for billions of users, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

Responsibilities

Build high-quality systems that address content safety problems for Google users.
Design and implement robust, modular software components for readable, maintainable code.
Implement and maintain agentic flows and multi-step AI orchestration pipelines with secure APIs and data stores.
Develop and test validation gates, routing logic, and tool-use schemas for deterministic execution.
Deploy production-grade content safety solutions across server and on-device environments.
