Job summary

Coinbase Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Onboarding team to build and scale backend services powering user onboarding and KYC across Coinbase products and markets.

You will own backend systems that support rapid expansion while ensuring compliance and reliability, partnering with product, design, and leadership to translate vision into executable roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building, scaling, and maintaining production backend services in a service-oriented architecture.
• Proven track record designing distributed systems that operate reliably at scale, including experience with cloud-native tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP).
• Proficiency in Golang or a similar statically-typed language, with demonstrated ability to write well-tested, production-grade code.
• Experience owning end-to-end delivery of platform capabilities, from technical design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
