Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to take ownership of features across multiple components within our products. You will work with a degree of independence while growing through mentorship and helping shape quality, reliability, and team culture.

You will balance performance, security, and maintainability, write and review code, expand test coverage, and participate in CI/CD and deployment pipelines to ensure robust software delivery.

Qualifications

• Have a demonstrated ability to build software.
• Write code to solve abstract programming problems.
• Talk and reason about code with other engineers.
• Take initiative to make things happen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features and proofs of concept across multiple components.
• Write and review code with maintainability and testing in mind.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines.
• Address post-deployment issues and incident triage with the team.
