Job summary

Singapore Pools (Private) Limited. is seeking an experienced software professional to plan, analyze, design, develop, and test applications. You will implement enhancements, write tests, and maintain documentation while supporting SIT/UAT and audits.

The role requires 5+ years in software development and automated testing, with strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills. Immediate opportunity to contribute to reliable government-aligned initiatives in a not-for-profit setup.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or IT-related discipline with at least 5 years of software development and automated testing experience.
• Experience in automated testing and test lifecycle management.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate, and triage technical issues across teams.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, standards and automated testing tools.
• Experience with JIRA, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, Java and/or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Gather and define requirements with business stakeholders and translate into design specifications.
• Develop new code or reuse existing code to implement enhancements or new solutions and document them.
• Create, execute and document tests to ensure functional and performance requirements.
• Facilitate automated testing throughout the test lifecycle and reuse test scripts.
• Support SIT and UAT as needed and assist with troubleshooting production issues.
• Assist with regulatory information gathering and audits where required.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for information collection.
