Job summary

Singapore Pools is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead design, development, testing, deployment, and support of technology solutions across enterprise systems. You will ensure deliverables meet business requirements, quality standards, security controls, and governance obligations.

You will collaborate with business, technology, architecture, cybersecurity, and operations teams to drive delivery outcomes, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers while continuously improving

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise, retail or customer interaction solutions across platforms.
• Strong SDLC and Agile delivery practices across solution design, build, test, deployment and production support.
• Experience with client-server applications (Web, Windows), REST APIs, WPF and CMS such as Drupal.
• Proficient with source control tools and modern development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, development, configuration, testing, deployment and support in line with approved requirements and standards.
• Provide technical leadership during system integration testing, UAT, and release readiness.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis and drive remediation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage dependencies and delivery outcomes.
• Review designs, code, tests, and deployments to ensure security and quality.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and run books.
• Provide updates on progress, risks and mitigation plans.
• Drive continuous improvement for maintainability, resilience and performance.
• Independently deliver complex engineering tasks and initiatives.
• Guide junior engineers on best practices and delivery standards.
• Coordinate technical activities across teams and vendors.
