Job summary

People Everywhere in Singapore is seeking a Senior Trading Systems Engineer to design, develop, and operate high-performance trading infrastructure. You will work closely with traders and quantitative teams to deliver low-latency solutions across market data, connectivity, execution, and risk systems.

The role demands deep C++ expertise, plus exposure to Rust, and a track record in institutional market-making/HFT environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in low-latency trading systems.
• Deep production experience with C++ is essential; Rust experience is relevant.
• Strong experience in institutional Traditional Finance market-making/HFT in buy-side or proprietary trading.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimise low-latency, high-throughput trading systems.
• Develop market data, exchange connectivity, and execution infrastructure.
• Contribute to order management, pricing, risk, and simulation systems.
• Work directly with traders and quantitative teams to bring trading requirements into production.
• Own systems from design through production performance, reliability, and ongoing optimisation.
