Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Java developer to join our technology team in Singapore. The role focuses on developing and supporting enterprise applications, with emphasis on Java/J2EE, microservices, and RESTful APIs.

You will contribute to full‑stack development, participate in design discussions, and ensure production quality code with a continuous improvement mindset in a dynamic environment. This position offers growth within a community of professionals.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent.
• 3+ years of development experience in Java/J2EE, Micro Services, API, REST.
• Deployment of Applications in IBM WebSphere, JBOSS, WebLogic and Tomcat.
• In-depth working knowledge of Unix.
• Exposure to MQ, SFTP and HTTP protocols.
• Shell scripting.
• Hands-on development experience of MS SQL and Oracle.
• Good in troubleshooting production issues.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and GitHub.
• Vendor Management Experience.

Skills/Requirement

• 3+ Years of development experience in Java,J2EE, Micro Services, API,REST.
• Deployment of Applications in Application Server-IBM WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS, WebLogic and Tomcat.
• In-depth working knowledge of Unix.
• Exposure of Enterprise Serial Bus, MQ and other transmission protocol like SFTP and HTTP.
• Familiar with Shell scripting.
• Hands-on development experience of Microsoft SQL and Oracle.
• Good in troubleshooting production issues.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and GITHUB.
• Very good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
