Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer with systems analysis and QA
• Strong proficiency in Java, Java EE and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Web)
• Experience with Angular/AngularJS, React, PrimeFaces, or equivalent web UI frameworks
• Knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, relational databases and SQL

• Familiarity with Eclipse IDE and XML

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business and user requirements and translate into functional/technical specifications
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Spring Web
• Develop responsive web applications using Angular/AngularJS, React, PrimeFaces, JSF or equivalent UI frameworks
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services and SOA components
• Work with Hibernate and JPA and relational databases including DB2 and MS SQL Server
• Perform system analysis, database design, development, implementation and QA
• Conduct unit/integration testing, code reviews and performance optimization
• Support web app integration using AJAX, XML, JavaScript and Java
• Work with mainframe environments (MVS, JCL) as required
• Collaborate with stakeholders, tech teams and vendors for project delivery
• Manage timelines, deliverables and quality following SDLC best practices
• Maintain technical documentation and support deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting
