Job summary

Newtone consulting in Singapore is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead end-to-end architecture of complex, mission-critical systems. You will blend solution architecture, hands-on engineering, system integration, security, and technical leadership with development teams, customers, and partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/system engineering experience.
• Architecture lead for complex, mission-critical systems.
• Proven hands-on development and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end software and system architecture across applications, middleware, data, networking, and security.
• Assess existing architectures and drive improvements in performance, scalability, resilience, and security.
• Lead integration of subsystems, APIs, messaging platforms, sensors, and third-party solutions.
• Define high availability, redundancy, and failover strategies; act as senior technical escalation point.
• Provide hands-on support during integration, testing, FAT/SAT, and production implementation.
• Lead design and code reviews and establish CI/CD standards.
• Embed security-by-design principles and support hardening, VA/PT remediation, and security accreditation.
• Support solutioning, technical proposals, architecture presentations, and effort estimation during pre-sales.
