Job summary

V-Elegant in Singapore is seeking a skilled Software Architect to design scalable, secure, high-performance systems. You will lead architecture across distributed microservices, cloud-native solutions on AWS, and collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes, optimise SQL/NoSQL stores (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB), and guide best practices in security, concurrency, and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• 10+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable distributed systems using Java, Golang, and Node.js.
• Architect microservices-based applications and cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Design high-performance backend systems with concurrency, caching and event-driven architecture.
• Lead architecture and development of enterprise and financial technology applications.
• Design and optimise SQL and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB) with indexing, sharding and replication strategies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct system profiling, load testing and performance optimisation for reliability and scalability.
• Design secure, highly available systems with authentication, encryption and security best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and DevOps to establish technical standards and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on software architecture, distributed systems, and performance.
