Job summary

Jabil in Singapore is seeking a Senior SMT PCBA Manufacturing / Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain SMT/PCBA processes for high-volume production and customer requirements. You will provide technical leadership across NPI, process validation, and automation initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, lead process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce defects, improve yield, and ensure IPC standards are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related engineering.
8+ years SMT/PCBA manufacturing engineering experience.
Experience with NPI, process validation, and yield improvement.
Lean Six Sigma is a plus

Responsibilities

Own SMT/PCBA processes from stencil to final assembly.
Lead DFM and DFA reviews during product development.
Drive yield, throughput, and cycle-time improvements.
Develop process documentation and PFMEA.
Lead equipment qualification and automation projects.
Interface with customers on technical challenges.
Ensure IPC and regulatory compliance where applicable.
