Job summary

Jabil Circuit (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to drive the full product lifecycle from design through mass production, emphasizing manufacturability and continuous improvement.

You will lead NPI activities, optimize processes for yield and cost, perform root cause analyses, and collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical challenges and improve product performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of product engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with test methodologies, equipment, and instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs).
• Experience with SPC, Six Sigma, and problem-solving tools (8D, FMEA).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues, yield excursions, and customer returns.
• Collaborate with design engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical challenges and improve product performance.
• Develop and implement test plans, fixtures, and equipment for product validation and production testing.
• Perform statistical data analysis to identify trends, predict failures, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Participate in design reviews, offering DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) feedback.
• Prepare and present technical reports, analyses, and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electronics manufacturing.
