Job summary
ACCTON Technology SG PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced SMT Machine Engineer to oversee operation, installation, qualification and maintenance of SMT equipment used in PCBA manufacturing for optical transceivers.
You will ensure uptime, performance, and documentation, while collaborating with SMT Process Engineers and production teams. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to support high-volume production and maintain compliance with safety and ESD requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
- 5+ years of SMT machine engineering experience.
- Experience with high-volume SMT lines preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate, install, qualify, and maintain SMT equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure uptime, availability, and throughput of SMT lines.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Support new equipment introduction and FAT/SAT acceptance.
- Collaborate with SMT Process Engineers and production teams.
- Maintain equipment documentation and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and ESD requirements.
