Job summary

citicclsa is seeking an experienced equity analyst to cover the small/mid cap Singapore-listed universe. The role involves producing actionable stock ideas, building robust financial models, and delivering reports to fund managers and clients.

You will present insights externally and collaborate with institutional sales and traders. A strong grasp of financial markets, excellent English, and relationship management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Business related discipline; preferably Finance/Accounting
• Minimum 6 years experience as Research Associate/Analyst covering stocks
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Excellent Excel/spreadsheet skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent interpersonal sensitivity and communication
• Strong relationship management and commercial awareness
• Excellent command of spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and differentiated research on the small cap sector
• Develop financial models and valuation databases for primary coverage stocks
• Respond to market news, earnings releases, and corporate developments promptly
• Develop and maintain key client relationships
• Communicate ideas to clients and sales teams to maximise exposure of research
• Maintain relationships with corporates, clients, government and industry bodies
• Contribute to team development and raise issues requiring action
