Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in equity research or related roles.
• Strong industry knowledge of the Financials sector within ASEAN markets.
• Thorough understanding of financial statement analysis and equity valuation frameworks.
• CFA and CPA designations are a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep industry knowledge of the Financials sector within ASEAN markets.
• Conduct primary research coverage of Financials companies across selected ASEAN countries (markets depend on candidate).
• Interpret data and analyze market, economic, and financial trends, as well as sub-sector and company developments.
• Publish regular reports on the Financials industry and companies under coverage.
• Build, maintain, and update financial models for covered companies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investor clients and corporate entities.
• Respond to requests from external clients and internal stakeholders, including sales and trading teams.
• Communicate research findings and investment recommendations to global institutional investors.
• Engage frequently with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for research initiatives.
