Job summary

Requirements include a Polytechnic Diploma in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical disciplines, accredited by IES/ACES, BCSS, and StS certificates, plus at least 7 years of relevant RTO experience, including 5+ years on complex

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent.
• Accreditation from the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES and ACES.
• BCSS certificate.
• Structural Steel Supervisor (StS) certificate.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant RTO experience, including at least 5 years supervising works of similar complexity.

Responsibilities

• Apply statutory codes and regulatory requirements to supervise site activities, ensuring quality control and compliance throughout construction administration and progress reporting
• Analyze site conditions and project data to communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear verbal and written reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records documenting work progress and compliance status
• Identify, address, and resolve site issues collaboratively to maintain project timelines and foster a positive team environment
• Supervise complex construction works, including large span structural steel and precast construction, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards

Education

Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical discipline
