Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of supervisory experience in civil & structural works including demolition and reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures.
• Experience in supervision of A&A works (adaption & alterations).
• Experience supervising architectural and M&E works an added advantage.
• Polytechnic Diploma in Civil Engineering or CIDB NCCS training certificate.
• Registered with BCA/IES/ACES as Resident Technical Officer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out full-time site supervision of structural works.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect reinforcement before concreting.
• Witness field and laboratory tests.
• Supervision of concrete and steel works.
• Maintain site records and daily diaries.
• Issue site instructions.
• Report defects and non-conformances.
• Attend site meetings.
• Verify as-built conditions.
• Monitor safety issues related to construction quality.
