Job summary

Linkedcorp HR Consultancy Pte. Ltd. is seeking a diligent site-based contract administrator to manage contract matters with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring obligations are understood by the project team.

You will handle procurement, progress claims, cost reporting, variation orders, and final cost review with PMs to keep cash flow and budgets aligned, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration on construction projects.
• Ability to prepare progress claims and cost reports.
• Familiarity with variation orders (VO) and final cost settlements.

Responsibilities

• Attend contract matters related to Client, Consultants and Sub-contractors and ensure site staff understand contract obligations.
• Source Sub-contractors/Suppliers, request quotations, compare costs and obtain best price for project budget.
• Prepare and submit progress claims to Client; assess sub-contractor claims and prepare payment vouchers.
• Monitor and update monthly cost reports for HQ/PM to enable timely site adjustments.
• Identify variation works and submit VO claims.
• Study Architect Instructions and report time & cost implications to PM for decisions.
• Assist team in site coordination and arrange meetings with Sub-contractors/Suppliers.
• Attend project/technical meetings and advise PM on cost queries to keep progress smooth.
• Carry out take-off measurements for claims/payments to avoid overpayment.
• Coordinate with site team to prepare documents for monthly progress reports (cash flow, sub-contractors, VO lists).
• Compute final project costs for each trade and advise PM on final accounts with Client/Sub-contractors.
• Mentor junior staff on project tasks.
